Oncoshot was named winner of the annual Singapore Business Review (SBR) National Business Awards 2021 for the Health Products & Services category. Now in its sixth year, the Awards is an initiative to honour local and homegrown companies in Singapore and recognise their outstanding projects that greatly contribute to Singapore’s fast-growing economy. Organised by business publication SBR, it is open to all companies headquartered in Singapore.
According to SBR, Oncoshot was recognised as the winner of its category for its commitment to elevate cancer treatment through technology and making Singapore a potential regional hub for cutting-edge cancer research. Through Project EISE (Enhanced Clinical Trial Initiation, Screening and Enrolment), the company has connected private and public cancer stakeholders, which harness its patient-to-trial matching platform.

"The pandemic has disrupted the global business landscape and forced companies to adjust to a ‘new normal’, and it’s likely that these changes will continue even after the COVID-19 is a thing of the past. It’s a difficult situation for everyone, but it also tests their mettle and endurance during a crisis. Those who rise up to this challenge are the winners here,” said Singapore Business Review editor-in-chief Tim Charlton.
This year’s nominations were judged by a panel of experts, including Jiak See Ng, the financial advisory leader of Deloitte Asia Pacific, Max Loh, the Singapore and Brunei managing partner of Ernst & Young, and Roger Loo, executive director, management consulting services, BDO Consultants. Awards winners include PSB Academy, AEM Holdings Ltd. and Advisors Alliance Group.
